Money Raised for Homelessness

ALMOST £1000 (£996.12 to be precise) was raised for homeless people during December 2021, and this will be shared between Shelter, Crisis and Centrepoint. WEDNESDAY COFFEE

We have started Wednesday Coffee at St James’s Church.  Do you fancy a chat with friends in a lovely setting?  Do join us from 10.00am – 12 noon every Wednesday.  

ASH WEDNESDAY

Ash Wednesday is on Wednesday 2nd March and we will be holding a service of Holy Communion with Imposition of Ashes at St John’s Church at 7.30pm.  

FAMILY WORSHIP

The next Family Worship is on Sunday 6th February when we will be celebrating Candlemas.  

ADMISSION TO COMMUNION BEFORE CONFIRMATION

We are running this course again for Year 2 children and above.  It gives children an understanding of what they are doing when they receive communion.  We will be starting this on Sunday 13th February on Sunday mornings with the idea to admitted children on Easter Day.  If you would like to more about this […]

JOINT PARISH SERVICE

On the 30th January we will be worshiping together as a parish at St John’s Church at 10am. This service will be followed by refreshments served in the Church Hall.
