During Advent the Parish of Baildon is offering a variety of services and resources which we hope and pray will enable you to take some time during the week to pause the busyness of your preparations for Christmas and spend time with God.  It is our relationship with God which makes this season so special as we await once again the telling of the Christmas story and the birth of the Christ-child.  As the licensed team in Baildon we offer these resources to you with our prayers during this time and look forward to welcoming you and your families into one of the Churches in Baildon over Christmas.

Compline
We will be live-streaming Compline every day at 9.00pm on our Facebook page starting on Sunday 28th November until Thursday 23rd December 2021. You can join in by viewing the service booklet for Compline available here.

Thought for the Week
There will be a short video of a Thought for the Week on our Facebook page given by a member of the clergy team beginning Thursday 9th December.  These will go live every Thursday with the last one being Thursday 23rd December.

Ways to connect with God
At St James’s Church, we will be offering a reflective space every Wednesday from 12 noon to 1.00pm exploring different ways of connecting with God.  The first one, on Wednesday 1st December will introduce prayerful colouring and using drawing as a way into prayer, the second will introduce Celtic prayer and the final one will focus on silent meditation.  Everyone is very welcome – why not come to Wednesday coffee at St James’s from 10.00am to 12 noon and then join us for a time with God.
